A day of activ­i­ties on the theme of space and astron­o­my for sec­ondary 5 and 6 stu­dents.

Around a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary theme, stu­dents meet, active­ly par­tic­i­pate and exchange with experts and researchers to ques­tion, reflect and dis­cov­er space and astron­o­my through work­shops, vis­its and moments of exchange.

Why explore space? What are the cur­rent chal­lenges of space explo­ration? What is the state of sci­en­tif­ic knowl­edge in this area? What are the oppor­tu­ni­ties and chal­lenges of the space sec­tor? So many ques­tions that will be addressed through­out the day.

Several activ­i­ties will be offered: vis­it to the UNamur astro­nom­i­cal obser­va­to­ry, dis­cov­ery of extra­so­lar worlds, biol­o­gy lab­o­ra­to­ry linked to space research, etc.

Activities to inspire young peo­ple to par­tic­i­pate in the research and space con­quests of tomor­row or sim­ply to push the lim­its, dis­cov­er what lies beyond the hori­zon, stim­u­late curios­i­ty, and seek and under­stand the unknown .
